Show Plot Finian's Rainbow

Setting: Rainbow Valley, in the fictitious, segregated Southern state of "Missitucky," USA.

Summary: An aging Irish dreamer named Finian McLonerghan and his daughter Sharon steal a magical crock of gold from a leprechaun named Og, and travel to Rainbow Valley in Missitucky, believing they can expand their fortune.  In the valley, they help local tobacco sharecroppers fight off a greedy, racist local politician who wants to take their land. Meanwhile, the leprechaun Og chases them because stealing his gold is turning him human, and Sharon accidentally makes magical wishes that shake up the town's racial and financial prejudices.
