Summary:

Fiorello LaGuardia is a fiery young lawyer and immigrant advocate in Greenwich Village and a deputy attorney general, fighting against corrupt Tammany Hall political machines and helping striking garment workers. He eventually goes to war, serves in Congress, and starts laying the groundwork for reform.
