Summary: Nathan Detroit runs an illegal floating craps game and needs money to pay for a safe location for the game. He makes a bet with a big-time gambler named Sky Masterson, wagering that Sky cannot convince a pure-hearted local missionary worker named Sarah Brown to go on a date with him to Havana. At the same time, Nathan deals with his longtime fiancée, Miss Adelaide, a nightclub singer who is tired of waiting 14 years for him to marry her. In the end, both couples find love, change their ways, and settle down.
