Summary: Wealthy and beautiful heiress Kay Ridgeway and her new husband, Simon Mostyn, embark on a luxurious honeymoon cruise down the Nile.  Unbeknownst to the newlyweds, Kay's spurned ex-best friend and Simon's former fiancée, Jacqueline de Severac, follows them onto the boat to exact psychological torment. A tense atmosphere builds among the eclectic group of trapped passengers.  When Kay is brutally murdered in her cabin, followed by subsequent deaths, everyone on board comes under intense suspicion, and Canon Pennefather steps in to unravel a deep conspiracy and expose the killer before the journey ends.
