Summary:

Benjamin Barker (renamed Sweeney Todd) is an unjustly exiled barber who returns to London after 15 years in a penal colony, framed by the corrupt Judge Turpin who lusted after Todd's wife (rumored to have poisoned herself). Grieving, Todd hatches a sinister plan of revenge that begins when he reopens his barbershop and finds a partner in Mrs. Lovett.
