Summary:  Viola survives a shipwreck off the coast of Illyria, and disguises herself as a young man named Cesario to enter the service of Duke Orsino.  Duke Orsino sends Cesario (Viola) to woo the grieving Countess Olivia on his behalf. However, Olivia falls in love with the disguised Viola instead, while Viola has secretly fallen in love with Orsino.  The chaotic triangle escalates when Sebastian, Viola's twin brother, arrives alive in Illyria, causing massive confusion when people mistake him for Cesario.
