Summary: During a severe thunderstorm, a dinner party is plunged into darkness, and when the lights instantly flicker back on, a glamorous blonde in black lace is seen holding a bloody dagger over the corpse of Lord Clive Wickenham. A bumbling, clueless detective named Chief Inspector Benjamin Braddock arrives alongside his sharp assistant, Sergeant Alma Threedle, kicking off a rapid-fire succession of misleading clues, absurd twists, and eccentric suspects.
