Setting: Harlem, New York City, and The Land of Oz

Summary:  While trying to protect her dog during a fierce snowstorm, Dorothy is caught and she is swept away into the magical, surreal landscape of Oz.  Guided by a good witch, she is told that only the mysterious "Wiz" in the Emerald City has the power to send her back home. On her journey to the Emerald city, down the Yellow Brick Road, she meets and befriends a brainless Scarecrow, a heartless Tin Man, and a cowardly Lion. Together, they face hazards—including the wrath of the evil Wicked Witch of the West (Evillene)—hoping the Wiz will grant their deepest wishes.
