Summary: In 1934, brilliant American doctor Frederick Frankenstein learns he has inherited the family castle in Transylvania.  Despite wishes to alienate himself from his grandfather, Dr. Frankenstein, he yields to temptation and decides to recreate his grandfather's experiment to bring a dead body to life.  Frederick successfully creates the Monster, but it escapes, and chaos ensues.
