History of Halloween

Halloween Costumes are an important part of Halloween

Halloween as we know it today originates from the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints. The traditions were brought to the United States by the Irish in the mid 19th century. Traditions include trick-or-treating, jack-o’-lanterns, scary ghost stories, and of course our favorite tradition…dressing up!
