If you have never applied a bald cap before, these are a good choice for experimenting. At $4.98 each, wrecking a few will not wreck your wallet as if you wrecked a few of the professional ones. Most people who purchase this product just use Spirit Gum and Remover (#19456) for application and removal. Quick and easy, no bothering to blend edges or match skin tones. For a more professional application you will need a better-quality Bald Cap and some other make up items. The kit includes: 1 Mehron Latex Bald Cap, 5 Color Makeup Pallet, Colorset Powder, Powder Puff, Spirit Gum, Spirit Gum Remover, Foam Wedge Sponge, Liquid Latex, Stipple Sponge, and Instructions. When using a Bald Cap for a professional or more refined purpose you will need more than just Spirit Gum and Remover for application and clean up. The following items will help give professional results. First you will want some Liquid Latex. Once the Bald Cap is glued down you will want to stipple this on the edge where it meets the skin. This will help hide the edge. Next you will want to apply Castor Sealer. This product protects the latex from being damaged by oils in the makeup and removers. These Bald caps if properly treated can get several uses. The Castor sealer is stippled over the entire Bald Cap and left to set for several minutes.
