Funny Girl

Set in New York City just before and just after World War I, the story follows the life of Fanny Brice, a real person and star of Ziegfeld Follies. The tale of Fanny's rocky relationship with Nick Arnstein is revealed in flashback after they reconnect upon his release from prison. Memorable songs include "People" and "Don't Rain On My Parade." The original run in 1964 put Barbara Streisand on the Broadway map.
