Quasimodo, is a hunchback held captive in the Notre Dame Cathedral by his manipulative caretaker, and the archdeacon, Frollo. For one day, Quasimodo escapes to join the Feast of Fools. There he befriends the free-spirited gypsy girl, Esmeralda, who Frollo and Captain Phoebus admire. When disaster looms as Frollo determines to destroy the gypsies, it's up to Quasimodo to save the day.
