Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
Musical Comedy Murders of 1940:
By John Bishop. A play writing team once again gathers their forces after making a flop on Broadway: “The Stage Door Slasher.” In a wealthy Westchester home and with money from an “angel” the team puts on a reading of their new show. However, in the ominous house with sliding doors, secret chambers, and a mysterious German maid, the “Slasher” strikes. Snowed in by a blizzard, the cast and crew must find out who is the “Slasher.” With knives and bodies dropping left and right, comedic chaos erupts, and with little help from the snowshoe-clad inspector, the mystery is solved just in time.
