Edgar Allen Poe had gone missing for five days leading to his death and his whereabouts the night before have remained a mystery. This play takes an imaginative look at what could have happened that fateful night. On board a steamer for New York City, Poe meets an acting troupe who offers to perform the biography of his life. As he relives his past, reality intertwines with his ghostly tales, and Poe finds himself caught in his story’s downward spiral.
