Singing in The Rain: Adapted from the book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, lyrics by Arthur Freed, and music by Nacio Herb Brown. At the end of the silent movie era, actor Don Lockwood and his insufferable co-star, Lina Lamont, are reworking their most recent smash hit film for the ‘talkies’. Though Lina believes that she and Don share romance both on and off the big screen falls in love with a chorus girl, Kathy Selden. In the meantime, the production team decides Lina’s singing voice won’t be enough to carry her stardom into the future; they decided to dub the talented Kathy’s voice over instead. Infuriated by Don and Kathy’s romance and success, Lina attempts to sabotage Kathy’s budding career, but her efforts are foiled by a host of loveable characters and Kathy becomes a star!
