The Madwoman of Chaillot: By Jean Giraudoux. Set in Paris, the eccentric, positive, “mad” Countess Aurelia discovers the world she loves is in danger of being destroyed by greedy men. She enlists the help of her fellow “mad” women and outcasts to put these “wreckers of the world’s joy” on trial in a mad-hatter-style tea party. The men are condemned to banishment and peace and love once again reign in Paris.
